There is a stand-alone benchmark for Resident Evil 5 which lets you pick DX9 or DX10 presets. Historically, this has been a highly CPU bound benchmark and that still holds true to this day. The results and screenshots below are from the DX10 version of the benchmark.
Ryzen 5600X is 30% faster than a Ryzen 3700X at 4K resolution when coupled with an RTX 3090. 8K resolution is no problem – 87 average FPS .
