F.E.A.R (2005)

FEAR is one of the most demanding DX9 games. It is now considered as one of the classics, but back when it was released it was way ahead of time. The graphics, physics, gameplay, and story set a new benchmark. The game was well hyped before its release, and I think it lived well up to the expectation. It remains one of my favorite titles to benchmark.

The games features a built in benchmark which was one of the most heavily GPU bound benchmarks of its time. The high end graphics cards of the time struggled to run it at 1080p.

F.E.A.R uses the Jupiter Ex engine by Monolith Productions.

“Only” 109 FPS at 8K resolution with an RTX 3090.
