There is a standalone benchmark for DMC4 which runs four individual scenes. This is one of those benchmarks which I used to start and go out for a smoke break! It is pretty long. I can’t say that the graphics ever looked amazing nor am I a fan of the DMC series, but this benchmark itself has been among my favorite one’s to run. It scales spectacularly with multi-GPU configurations and performs well with slower CPUs as well. It is fun to watch how it runs on modern hardware on 4K and 8K resolutions.
So at 2560 X 1600 resolution the RTX 3090 system is almost 14 times as fast as the GTX 280 system. Interestingly, the GTX 280 came out almost 14 years ago! That is pretty crazy.
Also, 8K performance is silky smooth with 101 FPS on average.
